About Us

“Give It Back Foundation” was founded in 2015 by USA Women’s National Volleyball team members who share the mission of leading the next generation of athletes toward healthy competition and generosity. Based on the core values of “Lead. Play. Compete! ” they began a journey to instill the spirit of the Olympics and World Championship within young athletes in their local communities.

By recruiting the participation of members of the USA Volleyball Women’s National Team, “Give It Back” has created a platform for athletes to empower  the next generation with world class instruction and encouragement. 

In partnership with a local sport club Puget Sound Volleyball, the inaugural 2-day instructional camp took place in Co-Founder Courtney Thompson’s hometown of Kent, Washington. This camp raised $35,000 for Children's Therapy of Kent. In the future, all camps will be fundraisers to support a local charity connected to the lead athlete. 

Our founders and board of directors invite youth players to experience world class instruction and encouragement by the some of the most accomplished professional players in the game today.

Mission Statement

At Give It Back, we are passionate about inspiring and empowering young girls through teaching volleyball and life skills that form a champion mindset.

Through our camps we hope to cultivate self-confidence, self-awareness, leadership skills, and an excitement that allows every athlete to enjoy the process of working towards their goals.  

Giving back means we are sharing our talents, knowledge and skills with young girls who love volleyball.  Giving back means we return 100% of our net profits from our camps to our charity of choice.
